Discover Copper Hill Equestrian Center, located at 3942 Phelps Rd in West Suffield. The center offers full equestrian boarding services, featuring a well-maintained indoor arena and a spacious outdoor arena. From riding lessons to training rides and vaulting lessons, their inclusive program welcomes enthusiasts from all disciplines. The center operates seven days a week 9 am to 5 pm.

Under the guidance of their dedicated team, Copper Hill Equestrian Center is more than a barn; it's a community. John Spencer is the Chief of the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association and serves as the Town’s Emergency Management Director. John has been with the Town since December 2019 having started just prior to the COVID Pandemic.

When not at work, the Chief enjoys spending time at home with his wife, two children and their two dogs.

If you have questions about the ambulance association, or are interested in training in CPR/First Aid or emergency preparedness, you can find Chief Spencer at the Zak Ambulance Center on Bridge Street.
