The 350th Anniversary Committee's mission shall be to regularly meet to plan and coordinate a series of events, learning activities and social and cultural opportunities which will lead to an awareness and appreciation by all about the rich, 350 year history, life experience and growth of the Town of Suffield.
The committee's goal encompasses developing strategies and planning events that allow opportunities for the greatest amount of town wide participation. It will further seek public and private contributions in its effort to highlight Suffield’s rich political, social, cultural, economic, educational, agricultural and religious history.
The 350th anniversary observance shall create a stronger sense of community, enhance tourism and promote continued economic growth and prosperity in the Town of Suffield (approved by the Board of Selectmen 6/7/17).

The 350th Anniversary celebration continues, welcoming bike riders and Sunday drivers alike to enjoy nearly 30 miles along pastoral country roads; local artisan-made wood quilts adorn some of Suffield’s most beloved barns and homes.
The Suffield 350th Anniversary Art Exhibit, "Visions of Suffield," has been on display in the Visitor's Center at the Phelps-Hatheway House since May, featuring 36 works by 15 local artists.
An artist's reception celebrating the exhibit will be held Sunday, September 19th from 2:30 until 4:30 pm. Meet some of the artists, talk about their work, and enjoy lite hors d'œuvres and drinks featuring products from local farms, wineries, and brewers.
