During the COVID-19 crisis, internet providers in Connecticut have been making efforts to help the state’s residents get online and stay connected. This website lists the packages and offers currently being offered in the state.

FCC Lifeline
Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone and internet. Eligible customers will get up to $9.25 toward their bill. You can only use Lifeline for either phone or internet, but not both. To get Lifeline, find a company near you.

There are two ways to qualify for Lifeline:

You can qualify through your income.
You can get Lifeline if your income is 135% or less than the federal poverty guidelines. The guideline is based on your household size and state.
You can qualify through federal assistance programs.
You can get Lifeline if you (or someone in your household) participates in one of these federal assistance programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
- Tribal Programs (and live on federally-recognized Tribal lands)
